Mississauga, ON – October 19, 2017 –On October 18th Dale Carnegie Training® commemorated its 105th anniversary with the second annual Dale Carnegie Global Day of Giving. Participating Dale Carnegie business owners from around the globe, partnering with various local schools, youth clubs, and organizations who serve youth populations, will deliver leadership training to students and staff.

“Dale Carnegie is a company rooted in compassion – it’s at the core of our founding principles.   There’s no better way to help young people than to provide them with human relationship skills that they can practice over the course of a lifetime,” says Joe Hart, CEO of Dale Carnegie Training.  “Our global franchise network of over 200 offices gives us unparalleled reach at the local level.  We’re deeply involved in so many communities that it’s very natural for us to work with local leaders and provide programs to enrich our young people.”

Our local Dale Carnegie office in Mississauga, offered a Global Day of Giving workshop to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel. The workshop gave participants the tools to better Manage Stress & Worry.

Trainer, Amy Blake, describes the outcome of the workshop, “The goal was to engage volunteers to recognize the impact that worry and stress have on our lives and give them the tools to enhance their success at work and in daily life.”
Here’s some feedback from last night’s participants…

  • It was very informative to hear other people’s challenges and solutions.
  • Helpful tools to manage stress.
  • Positive and daily application.
  • The openness – meeting new people and hearing different perspectives.
